1. Who we are

NTK Intel is a trade name. It isn't a separate company. The people responsible for NTK Intel and its newsletter, The Briefing ("we", "us"), stand behind these terms, and we will give their details to a court, a regulator or anyone else legally entitled to them. You can reach us at support@ntkintel.com, at legal@ntkintel.com for legal notices, or at 30765 Pacific Coast Highway #471, Malibu, CA 90265.

These terms cover ntkintel.com, our signup form and our emails. By using the site or signing up, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Please look closely at section 3 (under-18s and parents), section 4 (we are not connected to the game's makers) and section 5 (The Briefing is paid).

We ask for your birth month and year when you sign up. Please answer truthfully. We use the answer to decide what signup you can have.

Under 13: NTK Intel isn't for children under 13. We don't let them sign up, and we don't knowingly keep their details.
13 to 17: you can join the list using your parent's or guardian's email, with their agreement. See section 3.
18 and older: you can use everything we offer.

If the age of adulthood where you live is older than 18, section 3 applies to you until you reach it.

Think someone signed up who shouldn't have? Email privacy@ntkintel.com with the email address that was used. You don't need a login or proof. We'll remove that signup, normally within 3 days and no later than 30 days.

3. Under-18s and parents

If you're 13 to 17, you must give us your parent's or guardian's email, not your own, and tell us that they know and agreed. We rely on that. We can't check it. Please don't sign up without asking them.

Everything goes to that email. Your parent or guardian confirms the signup, and any purchase is theirs. We don't take payment from anyone under 18. We don't keep your phone number, we don't text you, and you can't join the Founders Club.

For parents and guardians. NTK Intel covers video games and game news, including Grand Theft Auto VI, which is rated M (Mature 17+) by the ESRB. We report on games. We don't recommend any game for any child. You decide what games and game content are right for your teen, including the games we cover. That choice, and supervising it, is yours. By confirming, you agree to these terms for your teen as far as the law allows. If you didn't agree, ignore our email and we'll delete the signup after 30 days.

You can see, correct or delete your teen's details, or take them off the list, at any time. Email privacy@ntkintel.com. We'll do it even if your teen signed up without telling you.

4. Not connected to Rockstar Games

NTK Intel is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by Rockstar Games, Inc., Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. or any official Grand Theft Auto VI channel. Nothing we publish is an official statement or official news from any of them.

Grand Theft Auto, GTA and related names are trademarks of their owners. We use them only to name the game we write about. Questions about the game itself, including purchases, accounts and support, should go to its publisher.

We may also mention or ask about other games. Their names belong to their owners, and we aren't connected with or endorsed by those owners either.

Signing up costs nothing. The Briefing is a paid newsletter, and joining the list doesn't include it.

We will email the price and a payment request before the first issue.
If you don't pay, you won't get The Briefing. You owe nothing.
Signing up doesn't buy anything, and it doesn't commit you to pay for anything.
The Briefing is weekly. We may change its format, schedule or content, or stop it. If you've paid, the terms shown when you paid also apply.

The form has more than one step, and each step saves when you press Next, even if you don't finish. See the Privacy Policy for what we keep and for how long.

Please give true details, and only your own. Don't sign up other people, or enter someone else's email address or phone number, without their permission.

7. Emails and texts

Email. Signing up means ticking the email box. We then send you a confirmation email, and we only email you more after you confirm. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.

Phone and texts. If you're 18 or older, you can give us your phone number. We keep it with your signup whether or not you tick the text box. Without a tick, we won't send you marketing texts, including release news. If we add accounts or payments and you use them, we may text you about those. You don't have to agree to marketing texts to sign up or to buy anything from us. We are not sending any texts now. If we start, you can reply STOP to any text to opt out, and message and data rates may apply.

8. Accuracy

We label claims as confirmed, rumor or denied, and we link our sources where we can. News about an unreleased game changes fast, and we can get things wrong. Our content is for information and entertainment. Please check official sources before you buy anything or make any other decision based on what we publish.

9. Founders Club

The Founders Club isn't open. If we open it, we'll post its full terms here first, and it will be for people 18 or older.

10. Paying for The Briefing

The Briefing is for people 18 or older to buy, and old enough where they live to make the purchase. A parent or guardian can buy it for a teen 13 to 17, and it goes to the parent's or guardian's email. We haven't set the price yet.

Before you pay, we will show you the price, what you get, the billing period, whether it renews and at what price, the refund policy, how to cancel, and the legal name and street address of the seller. You will have to choose to buy. Signing up to the list doesn't count as choosing to buy.

Payments go through a payment provider (planned: Stripe), and we don't see or store your full card number. If your plan renews, you can cancel online with a link we give you, with no login.

11. Our content

Our text, design and original media belong to us or to the people who license them to us. You may read them for your own personal use, share links and quote short parts with credit. Please don't republish whole issues, resell our content, copy it in bulk, or use it to build a competing product without our written permission.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

12. Other people's content and copyright complaints

We credit material from others where we use it. If you believe something we published infringes your rights, tell us at legal@ntkintel.com. Include the work, where it appears on our site or in our emails, and how to reach you. We'll review it and take down material when we should.

13. Rules for using the site

Don't submit fake or automated signups, try to break or overload the site, try to get at other people's data, or use the site for anything unlawful. We may block signups or remove anyone from the list if these rules are broken.

14. Links, partners and ads

We link to other sites, and we aren't responsible for what they say or do. If we run sponsors or affiliate links, we will clearly label them where they appear.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. If it conflicts with these terms on that subject, the Privacy Policy wins.

16. No guarantees

THE SITE, THE BRIEFING AND OUR OTHER CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T PROMISE THE SITE WILL ALWAYS WORK, BE ERROR-PROOF OR BE SECURE.

17. Limit on our liability

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR LOST DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF $50 OR WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE 6 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. SOME PLACES DON'T ALLOW THESE LIMITS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

18. Ending access

You can stop at any time by unsubscribing and asking us to delete your details. We may suspend or end access to the site or the list at any time. Sections that should logically continue after that, such as 11, 16, 17 and 20, stay in effect.

19. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as NTK Intel grows, including after a legal review. If a change is material, we will update the date above and tell subscribers by email or with a clear notice on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the change.

20. Governing law and disputes

These terms don't pick a particular state's law or court. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of the place you live.
